Dear Carla, Thinking of you today. I know what its like to have flashbacks of that time in space where if you could you would go back and change it to where your son was happy and smiling. May today be a day of blessings for you instead of the terrible sadness we know so well. Many Hugs for you.

Dearest Carla, Everytime I read your memorial, I feel and see different thoughts. I see a love that is uncommon in today's world, I see giving and compassion, I see two people who together really made a difference in our world. I see strength beyond measure, I doubt many mother's could have done this well. I certainly know your pain and we have talked about it many times. You still inspire me to this day. I know you know that Paul's spirirt and love is with you in Tennessee. May you find the inner peace you have so longed for and a happiness that he would want you to have. We pray for your health & keeping the faith you have found in your heart. May your holidays be blessed with miracles and love.

Dear Carla,

I wanted you to know that you and your beautiful son, Paul, are in our thoughts and prayers today.  What a beautiful celebration of Paul's wonderful journey you have made. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.  The quote from Gandhi was one that held special meaning for my beloved Amy as well.  The first thing I did after Amy's accident was pray to God that I wouldn't turn bitter.  He answered my prayers and I am able to wake each morning thanking God for the 17 wonderful  years He blessed us with Amy on earth and the knowledge we will be family for eternity one day in God's time.  I love too the Serenity Prayer.   It took me over a year to find my peaceful heart to surrender to God what I couldn't control - Amy's accident - and to focus on living life fullly and continuing to make this world an even better place just as these beautiful children understood all along.    These beautiful children truly did prepare us for this journey we are left to carry on and we will continue their legacy as they would wish.  Thank you you again for sharing your beautiful family with us. Peace and Love

Hello Carla!  I just read your son's memoriam in the Rochester D&C and it touched me deeply.  When I saw that he had a memorial here on VM, I just had to stop by to visit.  You should be SOOO proud of the amazing son you raised!  It is obvious how much you love one another and have helped to support each other throughout the years.  You have done a wonderful job with this memorial and also with continuing his legacy.  I have tried to do the same thing for my first born child, Taylor, who died at age 6 1/2 months.  This site has been very healing for me to say the least!  I am not on much anymore and need to do some updating but feel free to visit when you can!  Thank you for sharing your beautiful son's life with so many people who never had the opportunity to meet him but have been changed because of him.  "Each Life is a Miracle that Changes the World!!!"

Much love

Jennifer Brush, Mommy to Angel Taylor

What a beautiful tribute to your son.  For those of us who did not know him-you have let us share the wonderful life he lived.  Now your job-the hard part-is to carry on with sadness and a heavy heart.  Remember-he lives in all you see and do.
